Fixed Long-term Issue
We have had several issues with several units in our home since we moved in. They are both newer units. We have had multiple companies out and spent thousands and thousands of dollars. I tried to explain the same problem each time that we were having, but the techs always would find another issue, never listening to the symptom. When our Nest thermostat recently failed, I called this company. I asked them to please send out an experienced tech. They sent Mike Constable. He showed up the same day, listened carefully to my issues, and pretty much knew within 5 minutes. He fixed my thermostat and also fixed the long-term issue and has our house feeling comfortable for the first time in a long time. We will be using them for maintenance and any other concerns moving forward but always requesting Mike Constable 😀

All Good Except the Extra Charge
For $119, Jon changed the AC filter & preventive maintenance of inside & outside units. I could see he was thorough at his job. He found the contact points in the outside unit contactor needed replacement, & the service charge mentioned was $196 for an extra 15 min job while he was here. I found that charge excessive & opted to delay the replacement, otherwise all good.

This company contacted me back ASAP after I reached out! They scheduled and continued to have open communication throughout the process. My tech Angel was communicative on when he was coming. He came within the time given and closer to the beginning of that time range, so I didn’t have to sit around! He gave me the fees after taking a look at the situation and buying the item needed. He wore booties since I have carpet, which was nice and considerate. He finished the project quickly while being a good conversationalist. He redid the grout around the things needed it and made sure it looked presentable. He made sure things were working properly before making the transaction and heading out. I would hire the company and Angel again for future projects as well as recommend this group!

On Friday, April 11th, 2025, I posted a review for a new garbage disposal replacement. I was unhappy with the charge for the new disposal and the labor, but after speaking with Billy, the owner of Service One, I would like to change my review. My service technician, Alec, was excellent. He was here within two hours of my initial call and removed the old disposal and replaced it with a brand new disposal in less than an hour. He was polite, neat, and very efficient in his work. Billy, the owner, took it upon himself to reach out to me to discuss the issue that I had with the pricing. After speaking with him, I am now satisfied with the price that I was charged. I would highly recommend Service One for anyone needing plumbing work done.

As Service One celebrates their 22nd year in business, I wanted to post this review coming from an employee of Service One. I first met Billy Gouty, the owner of Service One, in 2004, and we started our business journey. In 2015, I decided to part ways from corporate and go work for Service One. I always loved their culture, their business motto, and professionalism. In 2020, I went to work for a major manufacturer (Daikin Comfort Technologies), which became one of Service One’s main lines of equipment offering. After three years, my journey had come to an end in the corporate world. I decided to return to Service One. There were a lot of HVAC companies that I could’ve gone to work for, but there’s a reason why I chose Service One. I wanted to be sure that whatever I promised the homeowner, the team at Service One would deliver and perform with the highest level of service, quality, and integrity. This makes my job fun. Service One always does a great job. Their communication is awesome - you know who the tech is before arrival and you’ll get a written cost estimate upon arrival. We never call anyone but Service One when it comes to AC and plumbing.

Pleased with the service
2 separate Service One appointments, same day. First time using Service One. 1st appt... We wanted a quote on a mini-split unit. Nick was friendly and told us what we actually needed to do for our sunroom. The room gets very hot. It's an older manufactured home. Apparently not insulation. 2nd appt... I wanted the coils to be cleaned after being told they should be cleaned, but Mike checked our unit and said it wasn't necessary. He did offer a maintenance package which he said cost as much as cleaning the coils. So the service call charge was discounted 15% for choosing the package and he did the first maintenance today, so in about 6 months they'll let me know it's time for the 2nd maintenance if I choose to do so at that time. He didn't push us into doing anything or buying anything. I asked about finding out about the warranty on our unit and Mike suggested I call Bryant to see if the unit was registered so I can have the unit under my name. The unit is about 4 yrs old and we purchased our home back in December. So far I'm pleased with the service we received. Also, both Nick and Mike arrived within the times we were told.
